I work in Law Enforcement and have a few Rental Homes as well... what I’m hearing here, from my perspectives of course, is that you have a drug dealer trying to rent from you. Unless you have some sought after, high profile Home for rent? If not, you have a drug dealer or someone who gets their money illegally. I’ve had similar experiences with potential renters and I run them through the systems I have access to and it never looks good. Stay away, don’t let the quick payoff distract you from the reality of what’s probably going on.

Hi Lisa, I've been operating in Huntersville for 10 years now. If you're looking in that particular market be prepared to compete again the large REIT's who buy cash. I've been able to pick up a couple units creatively so I wouldn't have to compete with them but once a house lists, my experiences have been frustrating. What areas are you looking at?

Hi Gary, any updates on your first deal? I've been investing in that market for 10 years now, would love to hear if you had success finding your first deal. My experience is that a lot of REIT's are operating in the area, buying with cash, frustrating!
