Hi! I am Gary Newsom. I am a small business owner in Cornelius, NC. Married for almost 32 years to Jana. We have 3 grown children. I am interested in using real estate investing as a vehicle to grow long term wealth. I actually dipped my toes into the stock market to accomplish my goals, but I am a worker and a do-er I like to be active and I like the idea of a more "hands-on" method of building wealth. I think this will be so much more fun than looking at charts all day! :-) I actually may have come across my first deal in the process of searching for a new residence in the Lake Norman area. My current real estate agent/broker is also a developer/investor. I have struck up a relationship with him so I am getting some coaching. Looking forward to meeting and interacting with you guys here at Bigger Pockets!
