Hello everyone!

I'm an out of state investor looking to BRRRR homes in the Fort Wayne area. I'm currently looking for a SFH as my first property, but want to scale up in unit size pretty fast. Hoping to buy 2-3 properties in 2022. I'd like to use hard money and buy through a wholesaler. I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for how to approach building a team remotely? Should I start with realtors first or property managers, etc? Thanks in advance!

Hello BP community!

I'm wondering if working part time as a real estate agent in NYC is worth the time and money.

Just a little about me, I'm 27 and saving for my first investment property. I'm from Connecticut and plan to invest there as I know the area well and it's an easier market to break into than NYC. I work a 9-5 in media, but do have free time on nights and weekends to focus on a second stream of income. If I enjoy the work and do OK I'm open to shifting into working as an agent full time. Thanks in advance for your help!

@Jason Shackleton Thank you! I already started an LLC based in NYC that i think i'll run the wholesaling revenue through. But don't think it'll serve much purpose outside of that.

Hello BP family!

I currently live and work in NYC, but want to get into real estate investing. With everything in the city being so expensive, I’d like to make my first investments in Connecticut, as that’s where i’m from. With family still in the state I thought it’d be easy to head up to if need be. So my plan is to wholesale a few properties in the state (ideally virtually), then use that money to invest in rentals.

Does anyone have any advice for where in CT to look for properties to wholesale, as well as eventually buy/rent out?

Also, does anyone have any real estate Attorneys they recommend? I’d like to talk to one about wholesaling as well as setting up my rental LLCs.

Thanks in advance!
