Welcome  to BP @Paul Lombardi

I am new to REI, however I very much enjoy brainstorming and discussing real estate. As a quick question, are you looking to stay in Quincy, or expand to different neighbors? Congrats on the current rental property, and feel free to connect.

Good evening! I am on my way to move up to the Greater Boston area in Massachusetts. After looking at many different towns and neighborhoods Worcester Ma has really caught my interest. I've done personal research for this area, but was wondering if any investors nearby had any information or tips about investing in Worcester. Also what are investors recommendations for this area. Thanks for the help!

Hi Jamel Driver I have to agree it really depends on a lot of moving factors. The square footage of the house, what you are adding to the house, and the materials you are buying. For example you can do a nice kitchen for 20k or 40k. It's a very hard question to answer without more details about the property and quality of product you are looking to install in your new investment. Good luck investing!

Hey @Francisco B.

I tried to send you a contact for a contractor but BP said I was spamming which is weird. The contractor I was gonna recommend is my father Steve Smith. Yes he is my father, but he does exceptional work, and treats everyone home like it was his. His number is 9084135461.

website is

signaturehomesolutionsllc.com

Hope this helps

Hi Emmett Dempsey Congratulations on securing your first property. This is what I would recommend. I am not a home owner I do not own any properties however I do work often wth my father who is a contractor. There are certain things in this new house that you will be able to do yourself. Such as flooring, trim cabinets countertops etc. However the case in my opinion, you should definitely hire a plumber, electrician, and someone to do siding for the house. Plumbing and electrical in my opinion is best done by sub contractors, because if not done to code can be very costly to replace when you are selling your house later. Hope this helps

Thank you Russell Brazil Dumitru Anton Jason Hirko for the feedback on the post. What is everyone's thoughts on price range for buying Granite? Butcher block? Formica?
