@Daniel Jenkins I am by no means an expert - I've done a couple deals, but not many.  So, take my thoughts for what you will.  I'm not able to find anything in the 2% realm, but I also am not a wholesaler or use wholesaler techniques; advertising, sending out letters, etc.  I would like to, but with my 9-5 I just don't have time.

Agree with you about interacting.  If you don't reach out, you certainly won't talk to anyone.  If you can, try to make it to some of the REIAs or other meetings.  Connections and networking can make a huge impact in the opportunities that are presented

Thanks @Drew Eldridge.  I was able to attend the landlord lunch last week and took home a few good points.

Hey everyone!  I'm going through and planning out my next 12 months and trying to determine if I should manage my properties myself as long as I'm able to or if I should go with a property manager out the gate.  I recently sold the one rental I had, and I never had many problems with it, but I'm hoping to add 5-10 properties of the next 12 months.

Everything comes down to dollars, so what is the common percentage for property managers here in OKC?

Thanks!

Jon

Welcome @Brandon Maughan! I'm a newbie here in the OKC market as well who is looking for SFH to buy and hold as well as fix and flips. I had one rental for 4 years and recently sold and have my first flip on the market now as well. I am looking for properties now and hope to add 5-10 rentals within the next year. Best of luck to you!

Thanks Theresa!  Wish I could have made the meeting tonight, but I'll be at some of the other events.  Look forward to meeting everyone!

Hey BP!

I've seen a nicely put together post on here before that lists all of the different meetups that regularly occur in the OKC area, but I can't seem to find it again. Can someone help me out? It had more than the BP meetup and OKC REIA monthly meetings.

Thanks!

Wish I could make it Scott, but I'll be out of town.  Hopefully I can catch the next one!
