Thanks for your replies. I have been employed for six months now with weekly paystubs. I am going to go to the credit unions in the area to see if they will consider. I went ahead and rented out my house for $1,700.00 a month last week. I have a garage apt that i can live in while rented. So, in essence I have two incomes and plenty of cash flow to pay back loan. I just don't have the two years of income they required.

I just finished a house I paid $44,000 cash for. It is appraised at $123,000. I want to use this house as rental cash flow. I applied for a HELOC loan to finish the attic on this house and then buy another house. I was denied by Chase because I didn't have two uears of employment history. How do I get past this obstacle if my work consist of working on my house? I have always flipped the houses before and never thought I would consider renting till this house. Can I get money another avenue? I have no mortgage, no car payment and good credit. Thanks for any advice.
