@Doug Shapiro and as far as my role, for now, would be as an investor and wholesale and come to a win win situation for every part of the transaction

@Doug Shapiro thank you for your honesty! Honesty is the best policy in my book for all areas so I see it no different with business and real estate especially since it is dealing with people in sometimes fragile situations

How do you approach someone you know is in a position to want to sell their house and make them trust and pick you to work with?

What are some good questions to ask your seller to make sure you best understand their situation?

Are there certain questions/certain ways to ASK the questions to make them more motivated to sell?

Also, is there anything I should make sure to bring up to the seller that would ultimately make them close with me.

Thanks

Post: Is there a certain market to look for in the Baltimore/Columbia, MD area?

I am San Antonio based but I am spending a week up north and thought I might as well look into the area for real estate investing as well.

I have heard Baltimore and Columbia are higher end areas but I don't have anything to back it up.

What is the market looking like here? What are people buying into? What are people selling and where is it selling?

I am intrested in knowing more about the differences, pros and cons, etc about FHA and Fannie Mae.

I am also wondering if there any other loans, pardon me if I am calling it by the wrong name, that are similar but different.

I know there is a lot of different loan types for mortgages, but I do not know what they are

any info helps, thanks!

I am attending my first REIA meeting today in San Antonio and I have heard that there is a way to prepare for it...

Are there certain questions I should ask since this is my first time attending?

Do I introduce myself as a RE investor or say I am looking into getting into REI?

I want to expand my network and offer any help I can to other investors hoping to gain knowledge and insight into investing, wholesale to be specific. How do I find the right people or make it so I am approachable at the meeting?

Thanks in advance.
