@Calus Glispie Those putting you down have their own insecurities to deal with. Keep focusing on your craft. It’s a learning process and unfortunately it comes with the good and the bad stuff. Forget being insulted by those who think they know it all. There are more of us who care about learning and sharing our knowledge and past experiences here. Take what you learn here and use it to attain your goals. Good luck

@Calus Glispie A single $1 is point blank disrespectful. It would have to be some kind of sellers to take that kind of offer from you. The dream is not that cheap. $1000 is very reasonable from the seller’s part. Make sure your lawyer can get you a refund in case something happens. Good luck

@Rick C. In the West Indies people usually remove their furniture from their properties and expose them in the sun. The heat is always the best bet against bed bugs. I would still use your method than higher a professional for half the price you mentioned. Also in NYC they have there a people with sniffing dogs who inspect their apartments twice a month to make sure they don’t return. Good luck!

Hi, I am a realtor in NYC for over 13 years. What is the best way to start getting into house flipping and eventually attaining some rental properties for investment? Since prices are a high in NY, do you think that NJ, MA, and MI are worth investing for starters like me?
