@Tyler Kress Simple! you don't need their approvals. Just make sure you don't ever have to ask them to borrow money for REI. I've learned to stay quiet when pursuing my dream. I'm sure your uncle started small before his success. Buy you and your wife some earplugs and go for your dream. Good luck!

@Grayson Gist

Just look for another contractor. If he ever contacted you again just let him know that your moral values are different from his views. You don’t have to confront him first. It will be a waste of energy from your part. Good luck!

@Benjamin Zwiebel once you are well qualified even though your offers might be low the seller’s agents or sellers will always make room for negotiation. If you know the market don’t keep lowballing the other parties or they won’t take you serious. Also, be well aware of the competition because while trying to save a few bucks someone else might steal the deal. Good luck!

@Miranda Simon Remove all emotions when buying real estate. From my house to my rental units I always get what I want by being fair and not naive or acting like I know it all. Know when to walk away of a deal is fishy, avoid all the so called real estate gurus. Do your homework, build a team of honest and hardworking people. Don’t stretch too thin. You got this lady! 😎

Hi all, Anyone has experience with the Hudson Marshall website? Is it a good place to find some foreclosed homes, bank owned, and pre-foreclosure homes to buy? Thank you in advance!

@Lakeisha Baker there is not really a big difference between brokers and agents as per what they do. The only thing is to become a broker an agent must accumulate some points or have to be an agent for a certain period of times. The broker can own his/her own real estate firm while the agent cannot own a firm until he/she becomes an agent. There are agents who are more experienced than brokers or vice versa. So dealing with an agent vs a broker does not mean you are in better hands or vice versa. Good luck!
