Does anyone have a solid contractor/handyman in the Baltimore County area? I'm looking to BRRR in Baltimore County and I'd love to talk to some contractors in the area who can help me with the work. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I have a showing for my potential first rental property purchase tomorrow and I'm excited, but also feeling a little nervous about what to look out for.  The place looks like it was just renovated and looks like it's turn key, but I'm sure there are things I should be looking at/checking for to make sure it's a good deal.  Does anyone have some advice, or a couple of key things they're looking at when doing a showing on a turn key property (or I guess any rental property really)?   Thanks in advance!

I'm a new investor just getting my feet wet in Baltimore County, Maryland.  I'm currently actively looking for my first property focusing on buy and hold in Baltimore County.  I've seen mixed feelings about certain areas in Maryland and I'm hoping to gain a better idea of the market through Bigger Pockets users.  I'd also love to meet and network with anyone in the area on the same journey.

Hi Everyone - did the Rental Property Calculator just get changed to a paid service only?  I had been using the calculator to analyze some properties and while in the middle of one it gave me a message that "the feature is only available to Plus and Pro members".  Anyone else have this issue?

I've heard the same thing, to avoid Baltimore City, from a lot of people.  What about Baltimore County?
