Speaking of Alaska! We're definitely starting to see DOM increase and small price cuts are coming slowly. Low inventory is still spurning multiple offers and frequently over asking offers. And interest hikes are dropping Buyers into lower price ranges where they tend to throw their money around and bully those buyers out of the properties that are left.

Hi @Jeff Walker We meet up stairs in the Private Room and if you ask the front desk for the Vested Meetup they'll send you in the right direction. I'll send you a colleague request to share contact info so we can make absolutely sure you find us!

Hi Chris,

Way to get out there! I'm with Vested | AK Real Estate Advisors, a locally based investor focused Real Estate Team. We have experience helping clients with STR and have some very solid handyman, cleaners and a STR Property Manager as well.

Would love to connect over lunch or coffee if you have some time in the next few weeks?

Hi Angel,

I'm with Vested | AK Real Estate Advisors in Anchorage, Alaska if you're looking for boots on the ground. I empathize with you, I'm an analyzer and like to be prepared and Real Estate Investing can be an intimidating beast. But I can tell you from personal experience there are things you can only learn from stepping out into those unknowns and a confidence that didn't start building until I did. I hope that's encouraging Angel! Let's connect if we can help here in AK.

Real Estate has quite literally changed my family legacy! Outside of financial freedom, it's cultivated a freedom of mindset you can't quantify. It's built confidence to tackle things that scare me, to step outside my comfort zone and bandwidth. All I want to do with it is share! Especially with people like myself that came from poverty, scarcity, and victim mentality.

@Phil K. replying to your post from 8months ago on appreciation in Alaska. I totally missed it when I originally responded. I've had the same concerns and found it difficult to commit to an area.

1) My brother has 3 properties, 1 in Wasilla and 2 on the East Side of Anchorage. His Wasilla property has outperformed his Anchorage properties on all fronts.

2) It really depends on what your doing with the property. Anchorage is a very "pockety" city, the market varies street to street in some areas. The UMed district, Lower Hillside, Oceanview, some parts of Jewel Lake, and Turnigan are some solid neighborhoods.

3) I don't have much on this one, I stick to local lenders.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the feedback @Bill Hampton, @Keenan Fitzpatrick@Allen S., @Basit Siddiqi, @Daniel Hyman. I really like Anderson Advisors but I wanted to make one last effort to find out if there was anyone like that here locally.
