Post: Buyers agent and property managers in Ohio

I'm currently exploring property investment opportunities in Ohio and actively seeking a buyer's agent to collaborate with. Ohio has emerged as a primary focus in my extensive search across various states (I have looked into many states). My goal is to establish valuable relationships with key players in the area, including agents, property managers, and contractors. With plans to make an investment within the next three months, I'm eager to engage in discussions about my strategy and appreciate any constructive feedback. Building lasting connections in the Ohio real estate market is a priority for me.

Feel free to reach out with your credentials and I will follow up as soon as possible. Ideally, an agent and/or property manager experienced with out-of-state investors (I'm in NY), actively investing themselves, and capable of sourcing off-market deals for BRRRR opportunities.

Thanks!

Post: Out of State Investment Property - Preferably BRRRR

Hello everyone,

I'm located in New York City and interested in purchasing an investment property (preferably utilizing the BRRRR method) in Indianapolis. Despite my limited familiarity with the area, I'm eager to connect with experienced buyer agents to establish a solid working relationship. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss my investment goals and collaborate with a buyer agent who can assist in identifying suitable deals for me.

Feel free to reach out!

Thanks,

Jagpreet Singh

Post: Buyers Agent in Emeryville

Hi All,

I live in NY but have family in the bay area. I'm looking to get a property in and around the Emeryville, California area. Would love to work with a knowledgable buyers agent. Any recommendations?

Hi BP community! I've been doing some research on land lord friendly states where the cost of entry into an investment property is relatively low (I live in NYC so I'm comparing prices to my local market). I've landed on two states so far that I'm interested in, Indianna and Kansas. Ideally, I'd like to build a relationship with a local buyers agent that can help me find good investments to rent out. I'll also hire a rental property management team to help with the out of state investment.

Any feedback on areas to focus on in either of the two states would be greatly appreciated! Feel free to reach out and connect.

Thanks,

Jag

Currently living in NY and have been in the market for a rental property investment for over a year. Price point and returns here are terrible so I'm now looking out of state. Locations that have come across my research are Indianapolis, Florida, and Arizona to name a few.

Trying to partner with reputable buyers agent and build a long term relationship in AZ to discuss opportunities, management, and all things RE related.

Any recommendations on areas to look into and contacts?

Thanks

Post: First time buyer - NYC Area (Queens County, Nassau County)

Hi All - I'm looking to purchase my first property in the NYC area within the year (sooner the better). I'm focused on Queens and Nassau County since that is where I live and work now. Ideally, I'd like to find a place that is in a good neighborhood, can use a little work in order to improve property value, and eventually turn into an investment property in 2-3 years. As much as I'd love to buy a multifamily right away, I'd like to get home ownership experience first before becoming a landlord. I'd like to work with a trusted buyers agent that can guide me through the process and eventually become my "partner" in future investments.

What are some great areas to look into? Price range about 500-700k. Would like to avoid coops.

Thanks

Post: Do I need a buyers agent?

Hi Everyone,

I come to you with a question. Should I get myself a buyer’s agent to help in getting me a better deal? Let me explain my situation. I live in New York and have found a mixed use building up for sale. The first floor is a store front and the top floor has two apartments. It seems like a great investment opportunity however, I have been talking with the selling agent myself. My concern is that I don’t want to be “low balled” or miss something on the deal, especially since this would be my first property. So, do I need an agent looking out for me and negotiating my deal? Can I do it myself and if so, any suggestions on what I should be aware of?

Thanks,

Jag

@Jon Q. Thanks for the feedback. I was looking into Turnkey options and I did find a mix review on if it was worth it or not. I think the most difficult thing is the management of the property. Easier said than done. Do you have out of state investments and if so, how did you manage your first property with things like finding a tenant, collecting rent, having a reputable construction company to handle sudden issues?
