@Sheri Fluellen and her husband JP are a great source and for some reason I cannot tag Corey Lynn Loghry

Gladys, let me know when you are going to sell.  I may be or have a friend as an interested buyer.

Great to see the Wyoming thread active!  @Daniel Carrillo and @Cody Renner just curious what the leases look like for the college students over there.  I am working on acquiring a rental property in Laramie.  @Perry Skorcz do you do housing for students or mostly locals who stay more than a year or two?

Greeting Katie,  I am a new investor looking for my first property.  I am currently in Cheyenne.  Welcome to the small group of Wyoming and Nebraska people.

Thanks so much for all the replies!  I had heard and seen such good things about the BP community and now I am glad I am experiencing it for myself.  It is pretty nerve wrecking with the price of units here.  Any my wife wants low risk multi-unit thats already rented.  Those units go for between 400 to 500 thousand here which is out of my first budget so it has been tricky looking for a first property.  And being the first she wants it close to keep an eye on it.

@Dan Mackin did you ever complete a reverse mortgage foreclosure?  I found one in Cheyenne and was just wondering what you have experienced.

I think ti would be great to attend a meet up.  Is it the monthly landlord meet up I have heard about or something else?  When and where?  Have you still been doing it in person since the covid hit or do you do zoom meetings?

I have been a lurker for a while and finally decided to post. I am in Cheyenne and looking to start my real estate journey.  My wife is nervous about it all and would feel most comfortable with a multifamily already rented which I know means more money and less profit generally.  How many of you take section 8 housing?
