@Simon Obas depends on your budget and you appetite .

New britain , bloomfield, enfield, manchester are cheaper but still decent ( I could go on )

Than nicer areas like wethersfield , berlin , glastonbury , newington are hlnicer areas and you could pay much more .

I get that its very vague , but stuff like this is very idividual, and it's hard to give advice when you don't know what the person is looking for

@Randy Galliani

I am a real estate agent in Connecticut , not the most experienced one, but I could tell you for sure that agents avoid FSBO.

Partly because they feel like every house should be listed with an agent so they don't show it out of spite ( whether it's good or bad is a different story but that's just how it is)

Also because there could be difficulties colleting your commission .

They will basically show your house if it's perfect for the buyer or if they run out of other options, which is kind of the case right now with inventory shortage.

So, if you are ever gonna have a great chance of selling your house yourself , it's definitely now

@Adam Goldberg  sent them mail, posted notes on their doors, tried to figure out their phone numbers, and nothing worked. I hate to say it, but I had to put this kind of stuff on hold, due to my regular work.

BUT, winter is coming, and in my opinion it will be much easier to try and figure out vacant properties in the winter, because they wont get snow removed right a way... So could help.

Hey guys, so I was driving for dollars, and took notice of this great property, in an awesome are in CT. Definitely vacant. After doing my research, it appears that the owners died, and now the mortgage company owns the house. I know which company it is and I have a phone number. Just need an advise on how best to approach, or if I should approach them at all.

The property is still off market. Please let me know if somebody has done something like this.

Thank you
