I recently joined eXp realty and have created my own group. We are investor-focused agents and are offering mentoring and coaching on how to build a passive profit-producing portfolio of properties just like we did ;) If anyone is interested in learning more or possibly joining us, send me a message.

Currently, we have purchased over 240 units in 5 countries, Canada, the USA, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Mexico.

@Account Closed I suggest you speak with a cross-border accountant. Financial advisors might not cut it when it comes to this. When we did out US entities structure, we had the cross-border accountants/CPAs, and lawyers/attorneys go over it all.

@Jason Rego You will need to use equity/asset based lenders. They will lend based on the performance of the asset, and you can also use creative financing with those deals as well to get close to 100% financing.

@Babatunde Akinpelu We live and invest in North Bay ON. Your best bet is to find an investor-focused realtor in that area that has access to Geowarehouse.

@Arti Sood We are investing in Texas, Florida, Mexico, and Costa Rica...What I am getting at here is in all these different places, our structures are different in order to comply so we are not subject to double taxation! Do the boring work first, which is asset protection and business structure. Those dollars you initially spend in cross-border accountants/CPA and lawyer/attorney will be time and effort you won't have to spend in the future.

@Eagle Yeh invest where returns are best! Whether it's a different city, province, or country! Make sure you build an investor-focused power team, that you can trust! Also consider your exit strategy, and if you want to make those returns in your currency or in another currency, ie: maybe you want to make USD money, invest where they use USD.
