Hi! I am a newbie from Salem, OR. I have been so inspired by the Bigger Pockets podcast's and many of the forum discussions. I am currently studying to become a licensed Real Estate Broker in Oregon and Washington. My husband and I are currently looking to convert our primary residence into a rental property and want to buy a small multifamily property to move into. In addition, we are looking to learn how to better market in our area and wholesale our first deal! I look forward to learning from and networking with everyone!

Welcome @Joseph DeSouza! I am newer to Bigger Pockets too. My husband and I attended the FB 3 day seminar as well. I thought it was fun and felt that there was some usable information. I must agree that the prices were so steep and the idea of maxing out credit cards did not sit well with us either.
