@Susan O. You should be able to file a claim for the damages with your insurance company. My wife works in Coral Gables, she has done this for several years of experience dealing with insurance companies. They will try and deny the claim or pay you very little for your damages. You should contact a experienced local lawyer to handle your claim process and get you the most for your damages while you go ahead and deal with the eviction if necessary. Good Luck

@AUDREY DESOUZA as far as a place for you to move into for yourselves I would recommend West Palm Beach specifically Jupiter area, Davy, Pembroke Pines,Miramar, Doral, Westchester, Sweetwater will all fill your requirements of quite but and hour away from the beach and the happenings. The rule of thumb is if you stay on the west side of the east you will be about and hour away from the beach, you will find a quiet area and still be close enough to some action if you wanted. The further south you get past Doral you will see the population of increase dramatically. The keys is always a great place to live too! 😬 I hope this helps. As far as for rentals and flipping the areas above do/can apply. Me being from South Florida  I know that Miami Lakes, Hialeah, Fountainblea, Sweetwater, Kendall, West Kendall, Coral Gables, South Miami, Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay, and Homestead also apply for rentals and flips. I'm pretty sure I missed a bunch of other places.

Good evening to all of you out there my name is I-DEAN. I'm very excited to have found this great looking forum/community. I have been a minor league baseball player for the St.Louis Cardinals for the last 6 years of my life. Minor league ball does not allow for financial freedom AT ALL so I worked to attain my real estate license last year. I have worked hard to put my license to use but I have not be very successful in attaining consistent business. I'm interested in ANYTHING that will make me money. I know its takes hard work so I am willing and able but I just can't stand sitting around not doing anything about hence why I have joined this community. I want to work, I just don't have a great idea of where to start. Hope you all have had a great Veteran's Day and Thank you very much to all the past, present and future vets. God bless you all.
