Hey, guys! I don't see why not. Would be great to finally get Pete at the Meetups as well. I'll make changes to the upcoming Meetups.

FYI** It seems I can't edit the name of this groups event. When I set up next months meeting I will have the new name of the group and change the description to something more appealing to the masses like @Eddie Gonnella was describing in the FB group...

Update: I got a gentleman by the name of Logan Fessler to join our Facebook group. He should be joining us at our meeting this month. Small step in the right direction but it is a start.

I feel if those who plan to join next months meeting (or even those who can't make it this time) could make it a goal to invite at least 2 people, it would be a good start! I invited a guy I know who has an Airbnb on the Island, and also provides real estate photography services. Then I also invited a really cool girl I've known for a few years now who's Dad owns a big landscaping operation in the area. I've never met her Dad otherwise I'd invite him, but I know she's really involved in the business and very close with her Dad. But hey, if anyone ever needed landscaping services for their Airbnb this would be a great contact to have.

Anyway, I feel these two could add value to the group and would be a great addition if they could join us. We'll see. But if you can take a moment to think of 2 people, even 1 person that would be a good fit - send them the link and ask them to join our event + FB group!

BTW I spent a long time trying to think of a logo and a little banner for the event and was just blank. I had a hard time coming up with something... If you have any suggestions please share because I just couldn't make up my mind so I slapped something together for the time being, but would love to improve it over time.

The purpose of our meetups are to bring like-minded people together who have an interest in real estate investing in or around Acadia. With the goal being to help one another through networking, sharing advice / experiences, and potentially even working together in the future.

We'll start at 7:00pm on October 26th at Fogtown Brewery in Ellsworth. We'll begin by introducing everyone to one another and continue, strategize on how to expand the group, then network and socialize for the remainder of the meeting. This is an informal event as the group is still new and growing.

Our meetings are free to join. All levels of investors are welcome, from newbies to the well seasoned.

We will meet on the last Thursday of the month, leaving this upcoming meeting to take place on October 26th. You don't need to have anything prepared, just bring yourself! We'll see you there.

@Tsvetomir "C" Nikolov No worries, my friend! I hope everything's okay. We certainly missed you but we did get our very first in-person meetup to finally take place since first working on in December '22, so that was pretty exciting. 3 people in total. It's a start!

One thing we talked about was ways we can grow the group and get the word out. I am going to get a Facebook group started, as well as post an event on FB. We will be actively spreading the word to people who we think would be interested in joining us. And of course I am going to put another post out on Bigger Pockets here shortly. 

It was fun to be around and talk with like-minded people - I also got a really good idea for my business after talking to Eddie and Garvey. Overall I say it was a success. Definitely a huge step in the right direction.

The next meeting will be Thursday, October 26th @ 7pm. Fogtown Brewery again. That seemed like a really great spot for the time being.
