@Sean McGuire we will be holding it monthly moving forward.  We were having it the first Monday of every month, but I took a couple months off when we had our first kiddo - I'll make a post for the next one a couple weeks in advance, but it will likely be the end of August.

Thought I'd provide an update on this thread. I mentioned that we had a signed lease in Rock Hill, SC for late 2016/early 2017 delivery - landlord was a little delayed in getting their work done so it was delivered in mid-April 2017. Construction is now underway on that project (restaurant #3) - I've included an update pic of our progress so far - should be complete by the end of August. I'll update with more pics a bit later on!

Hi folks!

After a couple months away we are getting back on track with the meetups at The Brass Tap. As always, it will be a very informal networking event - no cost to attend and no pitching of products! Just likeminded folks sharing a passion for real estate (and a beverage, or two)!

All experience levels and types of investors are welcome to attend.

We will hold the meetup out on the patio and will start at 6pm but you can show up whenever - and usually it runs a few hours - but folks come and go as they please. We keep it very informal.

As always, I'll have some great food & drink specials for meetup attendees - half off all bottled & canned beer, half off wings, $7 burger & fries, $3 house vodka drinks, and $1 off all of our signature mule cocktails.

The Brass Tap is located at 1440 S. Tryon St - we have our own dedicated parking lot, and there is street parking as well.

Look forward to seeing you all there!

@Brian Compton thank you and congratulations to you and yours! It is an indescribable feeling - and I can honestly say I THOUGHT I knew what life was all about, and then we had our baby girl and now I KNOW! So grateful!

@Tom ONeil thank you - most definitely will! We closed on the land Feb 1st and it has certainly been a learning process - building residential vs building a restaurant are two different animals but it has been a blast! FYI I'm opening a Brass Tap down in your neck of the woods in Riverwalk - should be mid-September!

@Robin Boyer I don't know your market at all but I would say network as much as possible with people IN your market who have done EXACTLY what you want to do. When I decided to pursue the restaurant/franchise space I networked with folks from the industry - and my mentor owns over 50 locations of a different brand - he is where I would like to be at his age. There is no better teacher than someone who has been there and done it! Best of luck bud!
