Hi Eric!

I’m a local investor and licensed agent here in Birmingham and also work in property management, so I’m involved in deal analysis on a daily basis!

Would love to connect one day about all things Bham and happy to run through some analysis with you. Let’s collaborate!

Feel free to reach out to the contact info in my signature or DM me her on BiggerPockets.

Would recommend contacting my colleague @Erin Dreher. She's local in Little Rock and is an absolute ROCKSTAR! At the very least, she's a great sounding board during due diligence and an excellent resource throughout the process.

I did Real Estate Express (my Brokerage uses this one for all its agents). It's all online, so you have to be comfortable with that format, but it's pretty straightforward and the info was plenty to pass the exams!

I have a lender that can likely help with this!

Matt White of FirstBank here in Birmingham. Feel free to DM me and I'll send you his contact info.

I'd recommend chatting with @Dominick Wallace. He's got some solid options for portfolio lending.

Exciting news this past week as the new Birmingham Xpress transit service officially started.

This will be instrumental in connecting a bunch of the neighborhoods around the city and is sure to be a catalyst for further growth and development.

Nice work @Jason J. Biggs. How did you source this deal for your client? Any big learnings or roadblocks during the process?

Hey Cheryl,

One of the instructors at my gym owns a landscaping business and might be able to help out. His name is Matt Wallington and he’s also a licensed Real Estate Agent in AL. If you send me a direct message here on BP or text me/email me at my contact below, I’d be happy to share his number.

For insurance, I’ve had a lot of success referring Tragg Tew of Alfa Insurance. He’s a broker so they have a few different options. I use him for my properties here in Bham and he’s helped a ton of my clients. Avon, happy to share his contact info directly if you’re interested.

Hey Jake, welcome to BP!

I’m active in the Bham/Hoover market and always love meeting up with local investors to network. Would love to grab coffee or lunch sometime if you’re interested.

There’s also a group that does a meet up every month in Hoover already that I’ve attended before. Great group of people and they cover the spectrum of the industry- agents, wholesalers, contractors, lenders, flippers, holders, etc. Search for “Rob Drum” and “Todd Helzer” on Facebook and they should have something posted about the event. I think they just had one this last week.

Otherwise, there's some other groups you can look for like REI, Chambers of Commerce, BNI, etc. for some networking opportunities.

Look forward to connecting with you!
