Welcome DFW. Coppell is a great little city... and so desirable that there is not much opportunity in the way of brrr. Higher home prices, too much competition, not enough inventory (at least of homes that need significant work), etc. Some nearby areas to look at would include Irving (a small part of which is in Coppell ISD), Carrollton, and Farmers Branch. You may also consider the Hurst, Euless, Bedford (HEB) area. I work in that area, so let me know if you have any specific questions. Also, my background is in MFH management, though my investments have been limited to SFH so far. I can put you in touch with my real estate agent if you would like. She's very familiar with the Farmers Branch/Carrollton area.

If you are still looking for an agent, and if you are serious (have funds or are already pre-approved), I can put you in touch with the agent who helped with my last purchase (closed right before the end of the year).

Hello,

I am looking to invest in Memphis - leaning towards the buy and hold strategy. I can't seem to find a neighborhood that I feel entirely comfortable with. Can any locals give me some insight on Cordova, Hickory Hill and Raleigh Neighborhood? How big of a role do good school districts play?

Thank you!
