I current own multiple properties and was wondering what you thought about having checking accounts to represent each unit individually or one checking account representing total portfolio.

@Heyward Lovett Update: I went ahead and used the exchange to purchase a couple of turnkey condominium units. Very minor repair work needed + two market value tenants. Thank you for all your advice during this process.

I recently completed an exchange and would like to know if I'd be ok legally if I lived in the property. The property was purchased in my personal name and later transferred to an LLC.
