I would call the tax assessors office and ask them. If they are not as helpful as you need, you might check with the tax collectors office. The tax collector here in Tuscaloosa is very helpful. 

I am in Tuscaloosa. I highly recommend Ben Ramey with Palmer and Associates Accounting in Tuscaloosa. He specializes in real estate professionals. 

What types of properties are y’all looking for in Tuscaloosa?  Properties on campus are really expensive right now. The numbers don’t work any more. 

Where is the house in Tuscaloosa?  Some areas are better to keep as Rentals and other areas are better to just sell and move the funds to another area with higher returns.
