Looking for Historical Value of Land In Alabama

Good Day Everyone!

I just sold 12 acres of land in Tuscaloosa, AL and I need to find the historical data of how much it was worth in 1977 when my grandfather passed for tax purposes.

Everyone I’ve talked to — a realtor I know out there, the person who did our appraisal, is not getting back to me.

My CPA said I need to find out a reasonable estimate so I don’t pay more taxes than I should.

Does anyone have any contacts out that way who may be able to help look this up or provide a reasonable estimate. I have a full appraisal report.

Thank you,

Mike
