Good Morning All,

For the folks familiar with the New Orleans area, I will be working temporarily in the New Orleans Area. I am planning to buy a place and rent the home out once I leave. I have narrowed my search down to two main areas, Belle Chasse and Slidell. In your opinion or based on your experiences, which area would be best for or most attractive for a standard 3B/2bath home?

I would greatly appreciate any advice and/or opinions regarding this question.

Thank you and have a wonderful day

Regards,

Vincent

Good Evening,

I am being transferred to New Orleans for a temporary project. I intent to purchase a home for my family and will rent the property out when we move. I am not familiar with the area so I am looking for local professionals honest advice on the best area to buy for family an has good rental characteristics/history. Also, areas to avoid would be helpful.

Thank you for your time and advice in advance.

Stay safe.

Vincent

@Salvatore Lentini. Great question. I have 4 single family rentals that I have bought as primary and moved a year after. I am pretty well versed in the rental process however I am looking for a partner or mentor that can help me obtain goals similar to your situation. I need to gain more know how in regards to finding and landing deals and private lending. I have quite a bit of remodel experience and I really enjoy the work. I do work a full time job 40hrs per week so I only really have weekends to work. I’m not opposed to letting contractors perform the work as long as the numbers work. I have a 5 year goal to work 100% for myself. Any advice to get me over this hurdle to continue I’d greatly appreciated

@Michael Ealy

Naturally I have the same dream as most, to get out from under the 9-5 job. Well I work 6am to 4pm right now and it’s hard to get out and talk to people, to learn. I do have some equity that I’d love to turn into a multi family complex that could potentially pay enough out that I can quit my regular job. Lots of sharks out there looking to take that money from you. I’d love to team up with someone experienced in this like yourself to learn how to go about being a successful multi family professional.

Good afternoon,

I need advice from some experienced Houstonian Investors or landlords.

I have recently moved to the west side of houston, Katy area for an industrial project and will be buying a home. I will be relocating after a year and plan on renting my home out. My question is, where should I buy that has a strong rental presence? I am looking in Katy, Richmond, Rosenburg, Pearland and possibly Cypress because these areas are within 30mins from my office.

I know Katy has been pretty popular for years and Richmond/Rosenburg have really grown over the last decade. Where are the hot spots for rental ROI?

Thank you all for your time. Have a blessed day.

Hello everyone, I’m looking for a recommendation for a good property manager in the Mont Belvieu/Baytown area for our current property. I prefer recommendations of property managers you have actually used. I’m trying to find a manager who also has knowledge of the surrounding areas, including Houston, Katy, Pearland etc for future properties.
