Strong rental areas houston - need advice

Good afternoon,

I need advice from some experienced Houstonian Investors or landlords.

I have recently moved to the west side of houston, Katy area for an industrial project and will be buying a home. I will be relocating after a year and plan on renting my home out. My question is, where should I buy that has a strong rental presence? I am looking in Katy, Richmond, Rosenburg, Pearland and possibly Cypress because these areas are within 30mins from my office.

I know Katy has been pretty popular for years and Richmond/Rosenburg have really grown over the last decade. Where are the hot spots for rental ROI?

Thank you all for your time. Have a blessed day.
