Hello BP’s

I finally closed on my first duplex after listening to bigger pockets for countless hours and overcome my analysis paralyses

I have a tenant living on the other side

Any ideas on how to meet my tenant for the first time and how to let him know there is a new landlord(property manager)?

And how to set his payment to me from now on?

Thanx for taking the time to answer a newbie

Hello BPers

I’m a newbie at this and have been reading books and attending seminars for the entire last year and finally found a multimillionare who invests and owns 1500 door who said he can help me achieve my goals but I have to start working full time for him and will pay me 12$/hour as a start and will increase it once I prove my self.

Do you think I should give up my job(truck driver) with $60k a year for this opportunity?!

Thanx for taking the time to answer this question.

@Caleb Heimsoth

I know right!

But it’s the only choice I have to learn now,otherwise I would keep doing what I’m doing now and nothing going to change

Hello BPers

I’ve been looking for a mentor for a while and finally found a multimillion dollar investor here in the DFW metroplex(4000 doors)and he offered me a full time job as construction manger for $12/hour as a start and he said he will teach me and raise the pay when I prove my self.

The problem is I have to quit my job(UPS truck driver) which I make more than double that and loose all the benefits and insurance.

Should I go for it?

Thanx for taking the time to answer this?

Hello everyone

I’m a new investor and been reading books and attending seminars for a while

I'm looking for a small multifamily(Duplex,Triplex,Fourplex) to do a house hack in my area(Dallas fort worth metroplex) but it's a hot market and I've been looking for 4 months now and I already looked to over 100 properties and whenever I submit an offer the answer is always the same(cash or conventional only) like there is something wrong with FHA loans.

Any suggestions to help me get my first property?

Thak you for taking the time to answer.

@Frank Patalano

Well,I’ve been looking for a while for a small multifamily to do a house hacking and got pre approved for $350k and looked into over 75 property so far and whenever I’m at work and a property popped up I send my wife tp look at it.the problem is the market here(Dallas TX) is hot and every proprty has 9 offers at the first day.

I have 3 agents that I talk to and I’m still looking but again,nothing happened
