Good Morning BP! Wanted to re-introduce myself to the forum. My name is Matt Hiley and I just moved back to MD after spending the past few years in the Charlotte, NC area. Currently living in Ellicott City, MD and looking to meet other investors in the area. I have worked in Residential Real Estate for nearly a decade and have worked for a National Real Estate Investment company while in NC as well as worked as a Real Estate Broker. I was very involved in a REIA down there and looking to get plugged in with a good network of like minded investors back here in MD. I was born and raised in MD and know the area VERY well and sold real estate here for years prior to moving to NC for a few years. I am now back in MD for good and back in Real Estate and looking to help others, form partnerships, learn more and more, and hopefully be a resource for other investors. Hey Kathy... I am also new to BP and down in Charlotte area.

I live off Westmoreland Rd. at the moment in the new apartments. My fiance and I just moved to the area in Feb. after moving down for work in Dec.  

I am currently educating myself and trying to find my first deal and do it right. I have spoke with a few real estate investors in the area and I am trying to potentially find a good partner for my first transaction. Someone who can help me through it, and potentially an investor. 

I don't have a lot of money to put into this first deal, and I am really hoping to be able to manage the project and contribute my sweat equity and work hard for my partner.  My goal is to start small with probably some flips to build some cash, then transition to a mixture of flips and buy and hold. Also, would love to learn about Wholesaling, which is something I know zero about currently, but plan on learning that and hopefully be able to do some of those as well. 

What experience do you have in REI @Kenneth Bell ? I would love to chat sometime.

My name is Matt and I recently moved to North Carolina last December, and I am interested in getting started in Real Estate Investing. I used to work as a Realtor for about 4 years in Maryland and really miss working in the industry.

I currently live in Cornelius, NC and would like to explore opportunities and connect with other like minded investors in the Davidson / Cornelius / Huntersville areas as well as Charlotte metro area markets and potentially other markets around the state ( Raleigh, Beach areas, Greensboro, Triangle, Winston Salem.

I am totally new to the investing side of things and would love to find some mentors to help me get started down the right path. I hope to make some business connections and friends along the way and look forward to connecting with the people of Bigger Pockets.
