@Tzvi Keisar

Bigger Pockets is a great place to find a real estate tax strategist.

I recommend finding a tax strategist who specializes in real estate taxation, financial planning and tax planning.

You may want to consider working with your accountant remotely to expand your options.

I would also recommend looking for a accountant willing to work with you throughout the year. You want an accountant who can help you strategize and who is responsive when you want to know the consequences of the financial decisions you are making throughout the year.

Good luck.

1. How much experience do you have with Partnership tax returns?

2. How much experience do you have with real estate investments?

3. Do you own real estate?

4. How long will it take to complete our return?

5. What is your price?

6. Do you offer tax planning?

Good luck with your search.

@Nada Mohamed

I recommend that you speak with your accountant and several cost segregation firms to compare benefits and prices. Many cost segregation firms will provide free estimates of the accelerated depreciation along with pricing. Also, make sure your accountant or the cost segregation firm can prepare IRS form 3115 to change the depreciation.

Good luck.

It would help if you can provide more information. Do you international properties and/or international income?

@Tiffany Da Silva

Flips and rentals are taxed differently by the IRS. You should have separate LLCs and separate bank accounts for flips and rentals.

Separate LLCs and bank accounts are needed for asset protection, bookkeeping and tax return preparation.

You should also have a conversation with your tax accountant about your bank account setup.

If you don't have a tax accountant, I recommend that you find an accountant that specializes in real estate taxation and business taxation.

Good luck.

@Nicholas Dillon

I wouldn't pay off any of the houses. The S&P 500 is up over 20% this year. Your mortgages are all less than 5%. You can earn more by keeping your money invested in the market and letting your tenants pay off your mortgages.

You should speak with a financial advisor about your complete financial picture before retiring overseas. A financial advisor can help you  create a comprehensive financial plan to make sure you cover all your bases before you move forward.

Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome to Bigger Pockets. Bigger Pockets is a great place for education and networking.

Make sure your financial advisor understands real estate taxation, financial planning and tax planning.

Also, look for a financial advisor who is a fiduciary. Many stockbrokers and insurance salesmen are not fiduciaries.

Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.
