Investor/contractor in Atlanta

Hey BP! 

My name is Derek Leggett. I'm from and currently live in Marietta, GA (NW metro Atlanta). I am married with 2 kids. Im a Marine Corps  veteran.

My wife and I have been running our construction/development/investment business since 2018. Before that I was a Framing contractor and worked for a multi-family marketing company. We own one SFH rental and have been building spec new construction since early 2020 (see profile for list of of investments). We ran my in-laws mountain/lake STR for 7 years before they decide to sell the property.

We like residential and want to do more long and short term rental but are becoming more and more interested in commercial like industrial or office. Would like to learn more out Opportunity Zones.
