@Steve Faucette

Hello Steve,

Welcome!

Do your due diligence. There is a lot of people with steady jobs in Waterbury. You will have to ask for sufficient job history.

Hello Fellow Investors or aspiring investor,

I am in the process of buying my first multi family property in Waterbury. The numbers look good so far. I just did the inspection yesterday. It looks like the place needs 10k-20k worth of repairs.

Should I negotiate a reduction on the price or just ask for a credit and I do the work?

In addition, I am open to connect with local investor and partner in some deal.

thank you everybody for taking the time to reply to my post.

I have another question. What things do I need to keep in buying a multi-family house?

I am a new member who wishes to get out of the rat race. I am planning on investing in a multi-family house as my first home. Many people had tried to deterred from doing it because of the amount of responsibility. my wife also had told me to start with a coop or condo. But, my gut feelings keep telling me to stay focus on the multi-family goal. What do you recommend?
