Why are the old listings not removed more efficiently?

Most of the posts that I find interesting when looking at them are over a year ago! (Of course, LOL) I think that as a responsible advertiser and agent, keeping your listings up to date is a must, especially for the part time investors that are looking to buy their next rental. The more accurate and reliable the "deals" are, the better and faster deals can be made! thanks BP

Jake, thank you for the reply, and out of state investing is always based on finding the right help to make you successful. I will keep looking, and will listen to your podcast, GREAT IDEA!

Why am I having such a hard time finding reliable property sellers and management in Detroit MI? I am not releasing names but I have bought some properties from some of the BP deals, and they took me for a ride. If you guys are buying properties from in Detroit, please spend the money on getting the property inspected before buying it. Also, if you guys are in Detroit and know of a reliable property management company, send me the info please!

I use Discover and they give you 18 months 0 interest, and that gives you time to fix it and get a better appraisal

Grab two credit cards at 0 percent interest and go for it! Once is your property you can figure it out

Here in California, We are the same without however leaves to AZ, TX, UT, ect.... The real estate business is insane, thus if you can't make it here, then find a cheaper investment option.  The myth of the state going empty is far from it. People are moving around in the state, and that is no big deal. The Times is not going to sell "People are moving around CA" so I take it as a grain of salt. I am personally investing in MI because it remains me of CA thirty years ago, when I could buy a rental for 50k. Everything in CA is fine, and we have plenty of "COVID" lockdown pregnancies (like our family got blessed) that will cover the people that leave the state!LOL

Thanks for the support

@Stephan Meister in today’s WWW.World, reviews are a lot stronger than many lawsuits. I have got quick answers out of bad reviews, so if they cheated you, tell the truth and post often about it.

@Russell Brazil why take the listing if they are not serving the client? I don’t see how this is a good point. The more you sell, the more you make.

@Craig Parsons I am in CA and there’s more real estate flakes that in any kitchen in the US!

I think many people are in because they have that one listing and flame out. I had agents post their sign on the property and never come back or answer the phone. My first home bought was about who answered the phone, not what home we wanted. After selling that one, we had a hard time buying another one because agents wanted to double dip, so their first question was “Do you have an agent?” And if you said yes, the phone didn’t get answered any more. Thanks to sticking with the agent that helped us buy our second home, we were able to buy other properties. So JUST DONT GIVE UP! I am in the process of buying properties in Michigan and have reached out to many agents, and everyone in BiggerPockets has returned my emails and calls which I am truly greatful. If investing was easy, every one would do it! Happy house hunting
