What colors on the laminate is everyone installing? I've got a lighter gray and darker gray wood look. Any suggestions?

BP, So this is a new one for me. I am under contract on a 4 plex and just found out that a tenant has "abandoned" one of the units. The seller informed me that he has changed the locks and is prepared to begin the make ready process on a unit that has been abandoned mid-lease. One of the other tenants called to let him know that it appears as if the person in the adjacent unit was moving. Approximately 5 days later the seller inspected the now empty unit and changed the locks. He says he has had no contact with the tenant.

1. Is he handling the situation correctly? We live in TX

2. Is there anything I should do to cover my backside?

@Noah Smith thanks for the advice. I'll ask for a quote on vinyl.

@Erik B. and @Marian Smith as you can see in this photo the siding is in very rough shape on both sides and the rear

(not sure why this rotated 90 degrees on me)

@Matt Groth the estimate is for Smart Side. Is that 2000 the sqft of the floor plan or the siding. Roughly I think our siding is around 2000 sqft.

@Theresa Harris same scope of work. But they weren't itemized very well. I'm working for a third estimate now. Thanks
