@John Warren

First, thank you for responding. I don’t doubt that it will be difficult, but anything worth having usually isn’t. I don’t mind a challenge, I spent almost 10 years in the Marines. I would like to work with all 3 honestly. Perfect world I would say I would be a commercial real estate agent and work with investors as well because that is something I am very interested in. I have yet to find someone who I could learn from about investing who also is currently doing so.

Hello,

 I am an aspiring REA looking for a potential broker who could sponsor me in the Chicagoland area. I currently work in the oilfield and I am away from home 2 weeks at a time. I know this makes things a bit more challenging, however I was wondering if anyone is, or knew of a broker who would be willing to help me on my path to fully transition away from the oilfield and become a full-time real estate agent. Is it even possible, or have real estate agents been able to do this before? I work roughly 200 hours in 2 weeks so I am no stranger to hard work or long hours. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all very much.

My W-2 Job is a Truck Driver and I have an opportunity to switch to a different company that will pay me more for my experience. Would this affect my ability to get financing for real estate deals in the future or would a banker look at the higher pay as a good thing?
