Switching W-2 Jobs near Chicago

My W-2 Job is a Truck Driver and I have an opportunity to switch to a different company that will pay me more for my experience. Would this affect my ability to get financing for real estate deals in the future or would a banker look at the higher pay as a good thing?

The higher pay is a good thing. However, if you have any commission/bonus based income as part of your pay, they can only count the base salary for the first year of a job change within the same industry (2 if changing industries).
