Quote from @Jennifer Volek:

I know that FRISCO is booming so I would say that it holds the most potential out of the cities you mentioned.

Yes, I see Frisco popup in my searches around Dallas area.
I am looking for a single family home with 4/5 bedroom and about 3000 sqft.
Even new homes or houses to be built are also ok.
I see a new development - Village on Main Street in Frisco.
Anyone know about this development and the builder?

Quote from @Diego A.:

Hi Gopi,

These are some factors to consider:

- Are you planning to invest or live?

Any specific investment strategy like house hacking?

- How many are in the family? Do you need good schools?

- Commuting how far is your office?

These are only some. We can keep adding to it depending on your needs.

The areas that you mentioned are where most tech companies are situated. I would add Flower Mounds to consider if you are looking to be close to the airport too.

However, investor friendly areas are Fort Worth which is growing a lot.

All depends on your needs.

This is for us to live.

We are retired and have no plans to work (other than work from home).

Budget is around $700K with about 3000 sqft, preferably ranch style. New or to be built also is OK.

I am planning to move to Dallas. TX.
I am looking at a few places like Frisco, Little Elm. Celina, Prosper etc.

Which suburb holds the most potential for faster growth (in 5 to 10 years)?

Does anyone have a referral for a good real estate agent/company who is licensed to sell/purchase in both California and Texas?

I am planning to sell my primary home in California and purchase a single family home in Dallas area.

Thanks in advance.

I saw an advt by Nimble Capital group about it's project (multi family) in Casa Grande, AZ.

Does anyone know about Nimble Capital group and their track record?

Also does anyone know the future potential of Casa Grande, AZ? They claim Casa Grande is the fastest growing city in AZ.

I agree there's some risk, but since the investors own the property 100% (no mortgage on the property), the risk is very limited.
Based on their latest update, they have started with land development and are selling 1 acre lots to investors.
I believe, with investors moving out from stock market, the ultra rich can easily gobble up these acre lots.

This is commercial and  warehouse sub asset class. Phase 1 is just development of the land (over 100 acres) which is scheduled to be completed in 18 to 24 months. Phase 1 is supposed to exit before phase 2 commences. I am more interested in phase 1 as the difference in acquired price and existing market price is over 30%. Assuming what they see is true, even if the price of land doesn't appreciate after all development is done, it means the appreciation could be 30%, which is not bad.

Phase 2 is the actual buildings on the land and exit to sale.

I haven't been to Frisco and not sure what the future potential is for the city. So, just want some feedback from locals or those familiar with that market.

Thanks for the prompt response. Any idea that's the approximate current market price per sqft in that area (Frisco Commerce Corridor)? A vendor is promising over 20% annual return in 2 years. Just want to make sure the promised returns are realistic.

In Texas is the property tax based on the actual purchase price or the appraised value as per county records?
