Welcome to BP. As a newbie myself, I've quickly learned that you are in great location right now to begin your investment journey. I myself am trying to study the market in KC, Indianapolis, and OH areas.

Welcome to BP and good luck with your journey. Former IT guy here as well - transitioned to more service provider role. Try not to get overwhelmed with all the BP contents and resources available - cause I am already. LOL

Welcome to the forums! I too am relatively new to BP and currently interested in the Pueblo/Colorado Springs area. But also have my sights out of state in case numbers don't work out quite right locally here. I'd be interested in following your journey and see how it pans out. Good luck man!

@Bill S. Appreciate the tip.. yeah it's kinda weird. Cause I did just as you mentioned. I did the @ symbol, the names I wanted came up, I selected it, and the name shows up in blue. But after I post the reply, the linked name appears just as a normal text. Wondering if it's my browser (Chrome).

update: OK just as I say it didnt' work, this one worked. The only difference I notice is I didn't quote your original comment that I'm replying to. I'll play around with that. Thanks again.

@Bill S. I very much appreciate it. I'll definitely be looking our for some meetups locally and hope to meet some good people.

Welcome to BP and welcome to Colorado! Castle Rock is a wonderful place to live and I am always glad to see another BP member from my home town.

If you want any opinions on local real estate, the town, or the best charter schools for your kids and how to get in feel free to reach out! We just enrolled by 3 year old at World Compass Academy (we chose the Spanish Immersion Program, but they also have Chinese-Mandarin and French).

Thank you for the welcome and some of the advice! It's certainly great to meet people on here from the same town. I've never heard of Castle Rock prior to last year when we decided to move and look for a great place to raise our kids. We almost ended up in Parker but we are really loving it here.  I definitely have to hit you up if I have some specific questions around the area. But I'll try to utilize the forums more so others can benefit from other people's advice as well. Maybe some of us local members here can setup a meetup sometime. Do you know of any in our town?

Right on man! Welcome to the forum, from a fellow newbie. It'd be great to have your wife joining you and working as a team. I'm still trying to convince my wife to join me. Right she's encouraging but she doesn't want to be hands on just yet. See you around in the forums.
