Congratulations on a great year.  You've got a good broker working for you.

The disability income is currently from a private insurance company, who of course are trying to move it to ssdi.  I have read that Social Security doesn't view passive income as "countable" income.  It places it in the same category as retired/pensions.

Congratulations, keep that energy flowing and someday you'll own that town 👍

My wife and I have an S-Corp elected LLC and invest in 100% buy and hold passive income. Problem is that I have been disabled with a non-work related injury and will pull long term disability where I cannot make another income. So any advise on how do my wife and I restructure our business where I'm still part of the business but not a member/shareholder that has to take a "reasonable salary", short of making my wife the sole and 100% owner. Mostly due to my wife and I both being guaranties on numerous loans. Thanks for you advise in advance.

@Sarah W., we were lucky.  A cabin next door to one of our nicer Cabins burned to the ground and vaporized one of our retainer walls, but no other mentionable damage other than that.

I have STR's in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge with great success and a great management company. Since the fire, inventory is low, and many of the banks have paid the owners for their losses, which has also thrown a lot of cash buyers trying to replace their cabins and not wanting to wait in line for builders to get to their build. The are has a huge surge of visitors through out the year with only about a 2 month off season which still seems to cover cost.

Thank @Chris Martin, I'm learning that.  Did you have to use a Registered Agent in SC. I'm looking at the application for Tennessee and it needs a Registered Agent with a Tennessee physical address.  I set up and am my own Registered Agent in GA and kind of prefer to do it all myself.

I'm in the process a piece of property in Tennessee under my LLC, which is from Georgia. I just received a call from the lender in Tennessee, who stated that I need to qualify my Georgia LLC to operate in Tennessee. Does anyone have experience in this and what are the steps. Thanks in advance.
