Thanks for the feedback. Did you use this as a way to accumulate money to get into investing into real estate or is this where you stow some of your profits?

In your experience what are the benefits and drawbacks of this type of life insurance?

I am looking to see what people know or think about beyourbank.com

They have an elearning about whole life insurance and how that fits into a financial plan. I was wondering if anyone has went down this road and what are peoples opinion on this topic. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the site Darren. I have a rental in Poulsbo, but currently overseas with the Navy. Hope to talk some more. I agree this is a good site. Keep in touch

I look forward to meeting each and everyone on this site. I was just introduced to this by one of my workers. I Am in the research phase of identifying if real estate is what I want to do when I retire from the Navy in a couple of years.

My real estate adventure is I own one house in Washington state which I lived in for 10 years. Once I got orders to Japan we decided to rent the house out through a local property manager. I am currently $-300 a month on the house. I have a note of 280 on it and property values of the house based on zillow.com is 265. I have another two and half years in Japan with no guarantee going back to Washington. Other than the house I am almost debt free. Should be there by June. When that happens I am going to save for real estate investing

Any advice would be welcomed. I look forward to meeting you all in the future.

I have to agree withe with Jerry from Wyoming. my wife is ultra conservative with investments as well. The bottom line is you have to do what you feel will best take care of your family
