@Jay Baker  You weren't kidding when you said SE Iowa.  That's about as far South and East as you can get and still be in the state.  LOL.  Too far for this beginning investor from Des Moines area.  Not a bad place from what I know of it though.

@Jay Baker  Are you still  trying to sell these properties?  I'm from Indianola/Norwalk area also.  I didn't see a response to the question on what town in SE Iowa.

@Andrew Bredholt I'm curious to find out if this has been resolved and how it was resolved.  A follow up would be awesome if you are willing.  I will be purchasing my first rental in Des Moines in Jan.

I have funds in two Roth and a Traditional IRA that I would like to roll over to a self-directed IRA and use in my investing, if that's even possible. Is there someone in the Des Moines area with experience that can help me do this and understand the do's and don'ts?
