@Lisa Arlt Escoto : I know the DC area pretty well, also. Growing up, my dad always had a place in NoVA while working in various locations around DC. Fun town.

@Gary Alford The market here is pretty interesting. It's on its way back up, obviously, and if I'm not mistaken still considered one of the better metro areas in the country for REI. Are the rumors I'm hearing about Virginia Beach true? The market's finally slowing down?

@Frankie Woods Keep me in mind when you're ready to take the plunge here in ATL. What do you ride? I've got a Yamaha race bike still in VA, and my BMW R-bike here with me.

Good morning everyone. I'm taking a moment to introduce myself to community here, as a new member based out of Atlanta.

Quick back story about me- My name is G.A. Miller and I'm from Virginia Beach, VA. Before relocating to Atlanta this time last year, I worked with an investor doing some flips around Hampton Roads. I was hooked on the concept and had a ton of fun doing it.

Fast-forward to the present and I'm a licensed agent with a brokerage in Atlanta that specializes in wholesaling (feel free to PM or e-mail to chat about that). I get to chase the houses and find the deals like I could in VA which I've found rewarding and enjoyable.

For those interested, I'm also a car and motorcycle enthusiast and try to tinker on and ride/drive my toys whenever possible. I also have the most adorable Bernese Mountain Dog mix you've ever seen.

I look forward to continuing to read everything going on here, learning as much as possible, and hopefully meeting some great people. Thanks to everyone for making this a really great forum!
