Nick Romano agree! Also, what is the price point you are shooting for? I see some decent 3 families in Brockton (not in the best area for sure) but they go for 300's. There is also a couple of 6 families currently for 500k I believe. As everyone agreed on this thread the numbers do make sense there if you are lucky to get good tenants and/or you are able to do due diligence in screening them!

Other markets to look into if you are going to the South Shore: Whitman and Abington (much better school system).

@Nick Romano I am also looking into Brockton as we speak! As I already own in Chelsea, Everett and Lynn and the first two cities we have already lost the momentum for cash flow in my opinion despite having much better tenants! Lynn is still a question mark to me if I should continue to invest there or not but I do see it to be the same "style" and rental market as Brockton today! 

For tomorrow? I am still not really sold on Brockton having much better opportunities due to its location and easy access to transportation as so does Lynn for that matter and houses have appreciated significantly in the area. Somewhat impossible to get a 3-fam for less than mid 400's currently... 

This is a great discussion as Boston north becomes more and more popular for investors looking to get out of already pricey close by suburbs.

Can anyone recommend a reliable snow plow service in the south shore? More specifically in Abington? 

I am looking for feedback/recommendations on a reliable snow plow service/company that can help us with one of our rentals down there.
