Since the last REI Bar Camp, I have had a ton of inquiries about the next one…

You asked and I listened!

And now I am excited to announce that REI Bar Camp is back in town!

We will meet on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 9am sharp until 3pm at the San Ramon Community Center, which you can find here:

12501 Alcosta Blvd

San Ramon, CA 94583

Make sure you register right away, as this event ALWAYS gets MAD attendance and sells out.

There will be an "after party" across the street, so you can REALLY network then!

Moving on…

For those of you who attended one of our past REI Bar Camps, you know how valuable this event is. Not only is there a panel of Bay Area Real Estate ROCKSTARS sharing their tricks of the trade, but the networking opportunity with fellow real estate investors is absolutely priceless!

I'm not kidding. MANY deals and partnerships have been made at past REI Bar Camps and I expect the more of the same this year, only MORE & BETTER!

If you are unfamiliar with the REI Bar Camp concept, here's how it works:

It is kind of an "unconference" – there are no formalized presentations. No prepared statements. EVERYTHING is unscripted.

Don't underestimate the power of this – you will decide the topics we will discuss first thing in the morning. Then, real estate investing pros will lead discussions about those topics in "break out" sessions.

You can ask as many questions as you like and the cool thing? You will get real answers from real people who have "been there and done that."

This is a one-of-a-kind event that you do not want to miss.

Mark your calendar. Set your watch. Get your tickets TODAY!

Use "thrive" at the checkout to still get early bird pricing

Don't wait. Don't hesitate. Don't miss this below are some of the leaders that will be there.

  1. David Greene (Bigger Pockets)
  2. Vinney Chopra (Moneil Investment)
  3. Daniel Blue (Quest Education)
  4. Michael Morrongiello (Sunvest Home Solutions)
  5. Daniel Ramsey (MyOutDesk)
  6. Al Williamson (The Leading Landlord)
  7. Cynthia Sandoval (Sandoval REI)
  8. Michael Zuber (One Rental at a Time)
  9. Ty Leon-Guerrero (Team1Realty

2019 REI Bar Camp

Do you have a burning question about real estate investing but don't know who to ask?

What if I brought the Bay Area's most successful real estate investors together in one room?

And they're ready to answer all of your questions?

Now is your chance! RSVP now (while there's still room) to the 2019 REI Bar Camp.

Tickets go on sale at midnight tonight. This event always sells out, so I suggest you don't delay—get your tickets right away. There is "Early Bird" pricing, too, so this is really a no-brainer.

You really don't want to miss this.

The concept of a bar camp is kind of like an “unconference” – no formalized presentations. Instead, bar camp participants decide the topics to be discussed at the bar camp, and then real estate investing pros lead discussions about those topics.

You get unfettered access to very successful real estate pros.

People like:

• Vinney Chopra

• Daniel Blue

• Michael Zuber

• Al Williamson

• More to follow!

It’s a dynamic way to learn and share information and experience.

Sound good? Register for this free event here http://reibarcamp.com

It’s September 28, 2019 at 9am until 3pm at the San Ramon Community Center.

Hi All,

My real estate club, Thrive REIA, is putting on our 4TH Annual REI Bar Camp on Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 9:00am-3:00pm at the San Ramon Community Center in San Ramon, CA.

I’m currently looking for a team of Real Estate Investor Leaders to join the panel and lead one or more of the breakout sessions that focus on various REI topics.

Here’s how it works:

There are 3 rooms, and we’ll have 2-3 different breakout sessions in each room and this year we have the big room for some headline presentations that I will be announcing.

There will be lunch served and after the event we will have happy hour together down the street.

You will have to RSVP via the Eventbrite link. I will send that out later this week.

You will want to come and hear about the "super charged BRRRR" strategy that he as implemented in several cities, while never ever visiting any of the homes or the cities.

About:
Bobby started investing in real estate at the age of 24 in Southern California using "house hacking" techniques. Bobby focused on his technology career working at companies like WebEx, Cisco, Marketo and Tibco but invested in real estate passively. In 2010 he started buying homes at the court house auctions and flipped some homes in the bay area and buying cash flowing properties in Kansas City, MO about 5 years ago. Since then he has worked with partners at Roof4All to help them grow their portfolio to over 700 single family homes in the Midwest. In addition he has put BRRRR into action for himself and his investor friends as the CEO and Co-Founder of BetterTurnKey.com. Bobby also runs a large meetup in the Bay Area. In the near future, Bobby looks forward to partner with Beau to own and operate large and small apartments.

Hi All,

Our next meeting will be on June 18th starting at 6:30.

Location: 1515 N Main St

Walnut Creek, CA 94596

I am excited to announce our next meeting. We have an awesome schedule lined up with a presentation from David Green, co-host of the Bigger Pockets Podcast and real estate entrepreneur.

David will be discussing his new book "BRRR" and here is an overview of what you will learn:

David will reveal how BRRRR allows him to force equity, leverage the talents of others, and recycle his capital so he didn't have to keep working 100-hour weeks as a police officer.

You’ll learn about the velocity of money, the “core four” players every BRRRR investor needs on his or her team, and the way to eliminate fear by taking a cold, hard look at the numbers.

David also explains how this strategy can reduce capital expenditures and how to come to the bargaining table with a cash offer that puts you in the driver’s seat.

He also addresses some common objections, including the notion that it’s difficult to influence the appraised value of your rehabbed property. Plus, you won’t want to miss the “Deal Deep Dive” where David goes into detail about one of his recent real-life BRRRR deals.

Here is the full agenda:

6:30- 6:45 Networking
6:45- 7:00 Introductions
7:00-7:20 What is a Monetized Installment Sale program (Learn about the huge tax benefits)
7:25-8:30 BRRR with David Greene

Bring your business cards for a chance at winning a signed book from David

Hi,

You may have noticed – we'd been a little quiet over the holidays. Lots going on. But I wanted to kick off the New Year with a bang.

Hence, our first Meetup of 2019. It's going to be a good one!

I've partnered up with my friend and colleague, professional appraiser by day and house flipper all other times – Mario Mazzamuto.

Mario and I want to bring to you on January 30, 2019, this Meetup where we talk primarily about 2 things:

1. Off-market properties in the SF Bay Area, and
2. Networking – which should always be on your radar!

Last year, I bought a few properties in the Midwest, rehabbed them, and began renting them out. I'm still in the process of doing that with one of them. However, I learned a ton over 2018 and I want to share my experiences with you.

I'll be doing that over all of 2019. So stay tuned on that.

About this upcoming Meetup

The real estate market has shifted, but as you can imagine, these "shifts" occur at different times and with differing degrees, depending on location.

Some have "hit" a bit harder than others. We're still not in a downturn—and we may not get into one—but it's always good to be on the lookout for properties with profit potential outside the norm.

What we have seen recently is higher quality deals coming in the off-market. Mario and I will share a recent property we're in the process of flipping that we found off-market (in fact, we've bought 8 homes in the past 2 months—all off-market from wholesalers and agents).

You may ask: How do we find these deals? They're not even "announced."

NETWORKING. Point #2 from above.

I hope you can join us. Let's get 2019 kicked off ROCKIN'!

Date: January 30, 2019

Time: 6:30pm

Location: 1515 Restaurant, 1515 Main Street, Walnut Creek, CA 94596
