Well, I grow up in China and that's not true. In China though, I remember I constantly read articles about how in America there is no 13th floor. Hahahaha.

@Joseph M. Probably Pasadena area. The reason I'm moving to LA is I'm bilingual in English/Chinese. There are a lot of Chinese clients in South California area instead of Santa Barbara. Orange County is very good but I would like to go to somewhere with more culture and diversity.

I'm using RealEstate Express, it's pretty dry to be honest. If you decide to use it though, call them to get a better discount. I'll move to LA too and am working on the courses right now. Just like you, I quit a full time job with high pay. I don't know how it's going to turn out but I don't regret.

@Daniel Klein Hi, Daniel, would you mind if you tell us what niche you started with? I would really appreciate it.

@Solomon Ganz Do not need to read those replies which discourage you from what you are doing. You've already made the decision. Go with it. Believe in yourself. I am in the same boat as you but much younger. I recently quit my job and will move to LA for RE. Which part of LA are you planning on doing?

Hi All, my friend wants to move to LA or Bay Area to start her Real Estate Agent career. Which one of these two places would be better for her career, LA or Bay? If she decides to go to LA, then which part of LA would be better (traffic, housing price, competes, and other factors) ?

Coincidentally, my podcast is addressing LLCs on Nov 28th.  Should be some good info for you.

Blessings,

Thanks for the reply, Bill. I will look into your podcast for sure. But I heard it is very costy to live in CA and have LLCs in other states.

@Bill Manassero Hi, Bill, I would love to connect. I wonder if you create LLCs for your out of state properties?

@Ali Boone Hi, Ali, I would love to connect. I wonder if you have LLCs for your out of state investment properties? And how much do you normally charge for referrals?
