New member from Spain living in California

Hi All, 

I would like to introduce myself as a new member of this great community I recently came across. My name is Jaime Sicre and I am new to the whole world of Real Estate Investment. I just started to scratch the surface reading as much as I can and listening to the podcasts of this website. It has been pretty intense lately as the more I discover about Real Estate the more I want to learn about it. It would be great to start attending some REI events and to meet new people as well.

A little background about myself: my wife and I moved to the US (Laguna Hills, CA) 7 months ago from Spain and it's been great so far. I work in a big Software/IT Services company.

As far as REI is concerned, we still need to decide our goals and strategy, although we are starting to see that our local market is a bit hard for newbies like us.

I am really excited to start this journey and learn and help the community as much as I can.

I am currently flipping homes in Orange County and teach others how to do so as well. I started a wholesaling group and spend my Saturday mornings with them.

I am looking for my next purchase at the court house steps, while I am working on a few more.
