Hi All,

I am a Real Estate agent in Northern Virginia and I am in the process of sending out direct mail pieces. I wanted to know is it required by law for me to disclose that I am an agent? My direct mail campaign is strictly for investing purposes and not for my real estate agent business.

Thanks!

Thanks @Jonathan Chari and

@Ed Tamayo! I went ahead and called the offices where I was getting the run-around and asked who the supervisor was for their department and asked for their contact info. I then reached out to these supervisors asking for the information or if they could point me in the right direction. One sent the list right to me and one referenced me to the right department and I am doing all of the work online via email. Now on to narrowing down my lists and mailing!

Hi All,

I am currently building a tax delinquent list and have had success in one county but the next county I tried for not so easy. I have called the tax assessor's office, treasurer, courthouse etc. they all bounced me back to one or the other, no one had an answer for me. Should I just call and ask for their supervisor's name and contact and reach out to them as they might have more knowledge? Or should I just go down in person?

@Ana G.  Thank you for this thread! This is exactly what I have been looking for and this is why I'm on BP! From the start and plenty of details. Are you paying upwards of $500 for Pat Live? You mentioned that you were paying this price earlier.

Hello All,

Does anyone or has anyone ever used an online seller leads company? I see there are a lot and cannot seem to navigate through BP very well to find a similar discussion. There are hundreds all over the internet, I just wanted to know if anyone has had any success stories or companies they would stay away from?

Thanks

Thank you all for your responses! I was sure that wasn't the case, the speaker was saying that this was cash in your pocket. That you could use for more investments, but he was also saying that you could use the cash for paying credit card debt and day to day expenses. I wanted to put this out there incase someone else goes to one of those seminars and comes back thinking that there profit is tax-free. Thank you all.

Hi all, I went to a Rich Dad Poor Dad seminar a while ago and got some information I believe is false. I went to this seminar one of the free ones and this speaker went on to stress this point in saying that if you take out a loan from a Hard Money lender or a bank, then any money you make from selling the house is tax free! I have been reading and checking out the different forums and I have found that is not true. I just wanted to hear it from someone else if it is true or not? He was not talking about selling the house and investing in another house he was talking about selling the house and having all that money tax free.
