That's a good way to look at it, and it probably wouldn't be difficult to own the entire city of Milton haha. You're not too far from me, awesome!

My 2 four units are in the neighboring town. Haven't pursued anything too hard in Milton - haha but yes, not too many units there! Looking in Madison area currently.

That's awesome! I love Maidson so dang much. I'm really into the Sun Prairie area and might actually end up moving there

If you did this work yourself, bravo

If you contracted it out, hold on to those guys!

Those floors came out fantastic. Wish me some luck on finding these deals!

How's the school district? Maybe list repairs?

Hopefully you're adding pictures somewhere ha

I guess really picture the end buyer you're looking for and work backwards- Gear the entire description around what they would be looking for

Just my $0.02, i'm sure others will have better tips!!

Maybe it's just my computer but I can't click the picture? It's too small for me to view without zooming in! Sorry, I really wish I could at least look at it

I think that fact that I have something tangible has always helped me and I understand that if rent is X and the bills are Y I get to make Z and at the end I have an asset worth a lot of money.

Definitely! Thanks for adding to the discussion

Seriously though just to be able to spend months traveling the world at a time

Perhaps you can accept rent in the form of Pepperoni Hot Pockets and cases of Bud Light?

I would LOVE to renovate a home and raffle it off for free to a family in need.

That's awesome. Those are the kind of different answers I was expecting to hear haha

I work in corporate America.   And I'm in my mid 30s and make a good, five digit income.  Seeing the shock, and even envy of a 50 something who is making 350k a year when they learn I have six rentals is pretty dang motivating to me.

That's a big part of it to, definitely. Here in Wisconsin.. my "friend's" I went to High School with are working their tail's off to buy big trucks and to jack them up to impress other people.. if you're really trying to impress someone, isn't a 10 home real estate portfolio (that will also secure your retirement) more impressive? (I mean, if you're goal actually IS to impress others..) The status part of it like you said is great, and the credibility you get from being SMART enough (w/the help of BP :)) to manage property goes a long way as well! Thanks for commenting man, we all appreciate the input!
