Thank you guys to educate me about this.
Thank you for your prompt response. I want to go over all options before I purchase home insurance. And I do see now I have to buy the home insurance.

I did similar way to purchase home ( cash + credit card). However i had good income beside rental property so I went with this risk. And it paid off at the end.
I am planning to buy a home with cash. So, I will rent this home in future. Do I need to buy home insurance? Should rental insurance purchase by tenant cover the liability?

To All,

Thank you for your prompt response,

FYI, contract was signed by me, then my agent, and then Husband at the inspection day when tenant also received the key from agent.

Next days, different contract was signed with hand-written lower amount by tenant (husband and wife) and send to my agent. We (my agent/me) did not signed this 2nd contract with lower price.

We told them contract was signed by landlord and tenant (husband) during home inspection and the same day they moved in the house and he also paid in advance july rent with higher amount. In addition, i also have security deposit ( for 2 months/ higher rent).

yes, tenant already moved in on 6/18.

Thank you, Ned.

After husband and my agent signed the contract, I signed the contract.

I am still looking for what option do i have legally?

Thanks Christopher, for prompt response.

During home inspection, my agent went over lease and he signed the lease with higher rent.
