Thanks everyone, y'all have some great ideas. I'm going to look into Hulu plus live tv as well. It might be better than youtube because of the number of screens at a time issue.

I have 4 vacation rentals and I'm thinking about getting a YouTube TV accoutn and paying $65 a month, but then I can use the account in all 4 units. But, I just downloaded the free version to check it out and I can order upgrades and log into my google account. Is there a way to set it up so guests can not order upgrades and access my account? I've been looking but I can't find this information.
Thanks for any insights from people who are actually doing this.

It's a crowded space, but go for it. Just talk about what you know about. You will find out what you want to talk about when you have to come up for an idea for a video every week. Check out my channe. www.youtube.com/theretirementa...

Greetings! I am getting ready to move to the St. Thomas in about two weeks. I'm a Realtor and investor in Florida. I'll be getting my Real Estate license when I get there. I was down a couple of weeks ago looking at property for myself. I was looking for a condo to move into and live in for a year while I get settled. Then I want to turn it into a short term rental. So I can share what I learned on my trip. As soon as I get on the island I will have a much better grasp of the market. So I'd love to work with anyone who is considering investing in STT.

Hey Collin,

I'm moving to St. Thomas in about two weeks. I'm currently a Realtor and Real Estate investor in Florida. I will be getting my license when I get to STT and I already have a company I will be working with. So, I can't help you today, but if you'd like to connect I will be able to help you in the very near future.

Also, I'm planning to manage all of my rental properties in FL from STT so I may have some advice on that front as well. Or, we can complain to each other about how hard it is.

Hello! I'm moving down to St. Thomas in about two weeks. I'm a Realtor and Real Estate investor in the Panhandle of Florida. I used to live in Folly Beach too. I was down there a couple of weeks ago looking at properties for myself. I already have a Real Estate company that I will be working with. There is a little bit of a question about how long it will take for me to get my license. But, 3 months is the worst case scenario. I will still be working with my Broker in the meantime and getting more familiar with the market. I own both short term and long term rentals in Florida and am looking forward to investing in STT too. I'd love to help you.

I moved here from MT, so I get it. They are getting hammered with snow this year.

What is your budget, and what is on your wish list? I'd be happy to help you find something.

Pretty sure I know which property you are buying. I was considering flipping the house across the street. I own two of the townhouses right behind the Sunnyside Grill that I rent short-term. They do great. You should do good with those as STR. As long as the upstairs tenants aren't two noisy. I'm not really sure what the rules are about renting an RV space, but I doubt anyone will mess with you in that location.
