Jay Hinrichs I'm just grateful we dodged dead animals and a snake in Tigard! That's awful! The best part of these hoarder houses is the neighbor's appreciation for cleaning up the mess. Makes it even that much more gratifying! Glad to hear you're rockin it!!

Marc Gallegos you might check with Sundance Realty in Salem. They are a flat fee brokerage. I hang my license with them as an investor.

Erik Barlowe I'm not sure what ProSchools used to be but it's what I used last year to study for my exam. I found it to be very thorough and easy to go at my own pace. Passed the exam handily the first time. Good luck!

Paul Winka any costs associated with increasing your basis and to be capitalized will be posted to your fixed asset account on your balance sheet, not as an expense on your P&L. This can either be done by doing a journal entry to move the costs or by coding each check or invoice as they are entered to the fixed asset account. Once the asset is placed in service the depreciation will begin.

Qbox is a safer alternative to Dropbox since it is specifically designed for Quickbooks files. It's inexpensive and beats using Quickbooks Online in my opinion. Www.qbox.com.
